Details

Measures roughly: 9" tall with lid on, 4" wide at the base, 7.5" long from spout to handle, has a depth of 7.75", and 2.75" wide opening.

This beautiful antique white teapot is an original piece from Haviland & Co. Limoges, France. The Victorian-style teapot features a unique triangle shape with a rope pattern and a glossy finish. It comes with a lid, handles, and a drip-free lip, making it easy to fill and pour.

Made by the highly-acclaimed Haviland & Company of Limoges, France, this heavy, well-made coffeepot displays an ornate braided rope handle with a smaller rope draped across its spout.

It has three embossed nautical knots found at the handle's bottom and one on each side. On a smaller scale, the pretty lid mirrors the same stunning design.

French Limoges is the finest hard-paste porcelain in the world. Its extraordinary qualities have been exclusive to the Limousin region of France since the 18th century. The kaolin found in the rich soil of this French region is the key element that gives Limoges pieces their elegance, character, and exceptional beauty.

This Victorian Limoges fine porcelain beverage server will look amazing displayed in your china cabinet and on your special event dessert tables. It will also be an impressive bridal shower, anniversary, or wedding gift!

At over 140 years old, this Limoges White Antique Coffee/Tea Pot is in beautiful antique condition. Made between 1876 and 1889, this piece amazingly has no cracks, hairlines, stains, or repairs. There is a very tiny flea bite on the lid that I have noted below. Her few tiny factory pricks were common during the 1800s due to the uneven temperatures of wood-fired kilns, which produced these pieces before electricity was invented. They only enhance the authenticity and character of this rare Victorian beauty.

The teapot is made of high-quality porcelain and measures about 9 inches in total height, with a length of 7.5 inches from spout to handle and a width of 4 inches. It is decorated with nautical-themed rope motifs and was produced using the art pottery technique. This teapot is a perfect addition to any collection and will be well-packaged for safe delivery. It is marked twice on the base. One is lightly impressed reading the R symbol with a decorated outline, and the other is stamped in dark ink reading the iconic h&c above an L with a line between them. You can reference these in the photos. Please note that on the under side of the lid, there is a very small flea bite chip. You can reference it in the photos.

Please refer to the photos for a better description and for item measurements as they are part of the item details.

Selling since November 2023

A workaholic mom who loves her family, her 3 beagles, Jesus, and vintage anything. Tired of the 70hr work weeks. Decided to try selling what I love buying and collecting. So far, I've done okay helping to share my amazing finds! One day, I hope to be able to devote my life fully to doing what I love the most. Slowly, but surely. I buy, sell, and collect glass, vintage decor and items, kitch, pottery, collectibles, etc. Mostly Mid-Century Modern style. I'm slightly new, making mistakes but still learning. I absolutely have fallen in love with my little store and I wish to grow it into an empire. -The Madd Thrifter Sarah
