This ornate solid cast brass doorbell assembly from the Victorian era works well and rings. The knob shank attaches easily into the bell assembly and turns smoothly.  This bell assembly will fit a door that is 1 ¾" thick which is pretty much a standard size. Great original patina too! In good used condition.
