Antique U.S. Glass Co. (Pittsburgh) Serving Bowl, Broughton/Pattee Cross w/Gold

This antique serving bowl from the United States Glass Company (Pittsburgh) is a beautiful addition to any collection. The round shape and high polish finish of the clear glass make it suitable for all occasions, while the gold trim adds a touch of elegance. The bowl measures 8.25 inches in diameter and 3.5 inches in height, with a pressed glass production style and a vintage Edwardian era design. It weighs 1 pound and 15.9 ounces, making it easy to serve and transport. The Broughton (aka Pattee Cross) pattern and original/antique status, initially offered in 1909, make it a unique and valuable piece.

The serving bowl is in very good antique condition. There are no cracks and only 2 very small chips on the external cut glass (see two close-up pictures). There is a surface scratch in the center of the bowl (see final picture). The gold overlay is worn in spots, but is more there than not. Please see the pictures for a full sense of condition.
