Approx 5.5” tall to top of stopper (approx 4.75” to top of bottle) x 2-1/8” square; stopper approx 1.75” square x 1.75” tall; unsigned; good condition; no issues.

This diamond-patterned pressed glass bottle is quite heavy and features an acid-etched stopper. The bottle holds 4 fluid ounces. S.S. Pierce (Samuel Stillman) was a specialty retailer in Boston who imported fine food and delicacies from around the world. Pierce was to Boston (and the east coast) what Nordstrom was to Seattle…and perhaps more so. The S.S. Pierce store was a Boston tradition and catered to upper clientele. Pierce imported perfumes from France and put his private label on them which may be the origin of his Princess Arlene fragrance. [Some bottles of this type still bear the original stickers, this one does not…boo.]
