This beautiful clear glass base has the stamp of one of the original fairy lamp makers Samuel Clarke. Stamped with the Clarke name and trade mark fairy lamp. He developed this lamp as a way to sell more candles. This style was patented in the late 1890’s as the “Cricklite” style of candle lamp with glass domes. In 1910 the Clarke candle company was sold to the Price Candle Company.
