Antique Porcelain German Shaving Mug with Mirror and Front Shelf $16. The mug has a swirled cup all around with raised rope & tassel motif with flowers and gold accents. The hand-painted designs are still brightly colored and crisp. [which denotes fine porcelain] The front shelf is to tap & drain shaving soap or creme and to rest brush when not in use. This mug was family used in the 1890's and still has its original mirror in front.

The handle has no damage. There is a 1 1/2 in. crack on back and a 1/2in. crack on side. No makers mark on bottom. These mugs are rare.
