Antique Octagonal Crank Bridge Loop Side Telescopic Spectacles Glasses

This is a very old pair of magnifying glasses with octagonal lenses, a crank bridge, and telescopic temples. It is marked "10" near the end piece.

These are known as narrow loop slide or Jack Downing glasses. The temples are telescopic, which means they slide in and out.

Item shows wear that is consistent with age and use. There is a chip on the edge of one lens. One of the hinges is loose. There is some loss to the silver tone. A slight gap between one lens and the frame. This same lens is a bit loose in the frame
