This is a antique 1920s-1930s Bonzo the Dog creamer jug, likely Japanese-made lusterware with hand-painted details.Design & Origin: The creamer is modeled after Bonzo, a popular cartoon character created by George E. Studdy in the 1920s. Many authentic examples are marked "Made in Japan" and were produced by companies like Takito. There is crazing and very light chipping on this antique creamer.
