Antique 19th Century Chinese Intricately Carved Wood Card Holder w/ Original Box

2.25"x3.75"x0.5". 19th century wooden card holder, made in China. Hand carved with a beautiful, intricate design of a scene including people, buildings and landscape. NOTE either side has one-two small black marks, please see photos. Comes with awesome original box that features a glass window pane and is covered in a woven fabric. However, the lid/flap of the box is detached.
***On the side of the card holder (part that goes into the “cap”), is a code written in pen, as well on the bottom of the storage box. This was purchased from a small historical museum of 19th century/Victorian items, and this is how they labeled the items.
