This is a vintage piece of pink depression glass, a popular collectible item. 
The pattern is known as "Mayfair" or "Open Rose," featuring a distinctive floral design. 
These jars were originally produced in the late 1930s by Anchor Hocking.   It is 7.75 in high and 5.25 in wide. Glows under UV light which indicates 1930s or earlier.
