Original Murano Glass Rostrato Vase, Made in Italy Stunning example of Venetian Glass in Amber. In the style of Ercole Barovier for the acclaimed Barovier & Toso workshop. The Rostrato technique is a hallmark of Barovier’s craftsmanship — each spike is individually hand-applied, creating a striking sculptural texture that catches and refracts the light beautifully. 4 7/8" Tall. 6 3/8" Diameter. Weight 4lbs, 11oz 2 of the glass points feel rough. They may be chipped at the point or the glass may have been pulled unevenly causing a not smooth texture. There are a couple flea bite chips on the base around the pontil concave.
