6 MCM-Brutalist Vtg Libbey Chivalry Clear Hock Wine Goblets Six Panel ~ Rare 6”

This “Hock” wine glass is Libbey Chivalry clear and are some of the coolest glasses out there!

The term Hock wine was new to me and so I thought I would share with you what I found out. I always knew that are different wine glasses for different wines but this totally fun to find out!

“A hock glass is a tall, slender wine glass with a small bowl, historically used in Britain for German white wines like Riesling, derived from the town of Hochheim. The glass's design, which includes a small bowl and a long stem, is said to focus the wine's aroma and sweetness toward the nose and specific taste buds on the tongue. While originally intended for young, sweet wines, these glasses are now also used for water or other beverages.”

They are both a Mid Century and Brutalist style. Elevate your gathering with these amazingly fun goblets. All are in great vintage condition. I mean after all they are approximately 40+ years old! There are NO chips or cracks.
