These 4 stunning bowls are a perfect example of Depression glass: the scalloped edges and floral and scroll design elements are characteristic of the Art Deco influence during that time. Produced by the Federal Glass Company of Columbus, OH, a leading maker of machine pressed glass that was often used as a promotional item - a strange bit of elegance during a solemn economic period. Madrid was one of their most popular patterns. Measurements: 6 7/8" square, 1 7/8" deep Like New Condition: no chips, cracks, or evidence of use.
