Mercury dimes, produced by the U.S. Mint between 1916 and 1945. Composition: These coins are composed of 90% silver. Design: The obverse depicts a profile of Liberty wearing a winged cap to represent freedom of thought, while the reverse features a fasces and an olive branch.
