He grew up as a graffiti artist. He studied Graphic Design at Los Angeles Trade Technical College in California. He suffered a catastrophic brain injury by which he lost use of several nerves. Primarily affecting his sense of hearing eyesight and facial muscle movement. He uses art with his physical therapist to try to find new pathways for improved neuro-function.

He restored and showed vintage cars. So naturally many vintage cars feature in his paintings. He was and is a master of floral paintings, as well.
