1950s Boscul Peanut Butter Glass Fox Terrier Dog Series Water Tumbler

Rare "Smooth Fox Terrier" glass is part of a dog breeds advertising premium marketed by the Boscul Peanut Butter Company. Boscul Peanut Butter was produced by the Wm. S. Scull Company, Inc., Camden, New Jersey, and sold in the NE states. They distributed everything from tea, coffee, and nut products, in decorative glasses as a way to entice buyers to purchase their products. They are best known for floral-decorated tumblers, the dogs are much rarer. Back in the day a family could purchase a glass filled with peanut butter for twenty-seven cents. They were produced from 1949 - 62. Last one so I've marked it down! No one knows for sure which glass manufacturer made the glasses but possibly Libbey or Hazel Atlas.
