This vintage Art Deco bar caddy set from the 1930s is a stunning addition to any collection. Made of durable Bakelite material, this countertop portable caddy is perfect for storing and organizing your bar essentials. The intricate design and craftsmanship of this piece showcases the best of American-made products, with its origin being the United States.
The caddy set features ample storage space and compartments suitable for storing all your bar tools and accessories. This collectors' item falls under the categories of vintage, retro, and mid-century. Add this rare, one-of-a-kind piece to your home bar or collection and experience the beauty of the past.
This beautiful, hard to find, rare piece comes with its original glassware. This includes 4 Federal Glass double gold rimmed shot glasses, 3 Federal Glass double gold rimmed highball cocktail glasses, 2 matching square decanters with original stoppers, 2 glass stir sticks (one fully intact and one broken), and a square ice bucket. All of the glassware is in excellent condition, showing no signs of damage besides the previously noted damaged stir stick. However, there is wear/fading to the gold rims. The caddy is meant to hold 6 glasses, but this only comes with 3.
The bakelite is in very good condition and has cleaned up very well. The back side appeared to have had a rust like substance on it that we were unable to fully remove due to not having adequate cleaning supplies to do so. This item was kept in a shed for the last 45 years. It had a lot of dirt, cobwebs, dust, etc. built up on it that we were able to almost fully remove. There are a lot of ways to polish and clean bakelite. I wanted to leave the finishing touches up to the buyer. The base of this is made of wood, which is also in great shape! My husband noticed the handles were at a slight tilt. He tried to fix them (they easily unscrewed and screw back on), but it appears they have either been made that way or something happened over the years where they do not sit flush on the side. This does not affect the use of the item, just a personal eye sore for a perfectionist.
I also want to note that this item is quite heavy and large. I can provide detailed measurements to any interested buyer. I am willing to try to find cheaper shipping options as well. I will do what I can for you. Keep in mind that each glass will need to be carefully wrapped along with the bakelite item. I understand this will not be cheap to ship. It would be better to ship this in two boxes vs. trying to fit it in one. It is my opinion, but if the buyer is agreeing to it, I would prefer to ship this in two separate boxes, and I would absorb the cost for that. I am offering free shipping on this item for USA residents and due to that the price is a little higher. Please also note that this item is cross listed.
I have A TON of photos for this along with photos of all the glass measurements if someone wanted to find replacement glasses. I would be more than happy to send them to any interested buyers as they would not all fit in the listing.
Dimensions: H 10" x W 23" x D 9.5"

Selling since November 2023
A workaholic mom who loves her family, her 3 beagles, Jesus, and vintage anything. Tired of the 70hr work weeks. Decided to try selling what I love buying and collecting. So far, I've done okay helping to share my amazing finds! One day, I hope to be able to devote my life fully to doing what I love the most. Slowly, but surely. I buy, sell, and collect glass, vintage decor items and kitch, pottery, collectibles, etc. Mostly Mid-Century Modern style. I'm slightly new, making mistakes but still learning. I absolutely have fallen in love with my little store and I wish to grow it into an empire. -The Madd Thrifter Sarah
