Paragon Black Tapestry Rose Tea Cup and Saucer Set Fine Bone China Double Warrant

This lovely, double warrant, cup and saucer set was made by Paragon in England. Both pieces have a deep black background and a floral, rose design. This is Paragon's Tapestry Rose pattern. Both pieces have gilt around the rims and on the handle and foot of the tea cup.

They are marked, "Paragon, By Appointment, Fine Bone China, England Reg'd., Tapestry Rose ". This backstamp dates the set to 1939-1949. This set features two different Royal Warrant marks. These marks indicate a company that has supplied goods to the Royal family for at least five years. Royal warrants are a sign of quality and are highly sought after by manufacturers.

Condition: The set is in very good, vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Both pieces ring nicely.
