You can pre mix! So whenever you’re ready, it’s good to go ☺️

When did you pot up? Congrats on the new plant babies!
Reported Message
With basic soil, those might be the ones you might have a problem with. In the future, you can use regular potting soil but I would highly suggest doing 50/50 soil and perlite or pumice (I vote pumice!). Depending on the plant of course
Reported Message
my moms coworker gave me a bunch of plants and i got excited and just went for it
Reported Message
i overestimated cause the plant seemed big to me but i guess the pot CAN be smaller but i got them in big boys
Reported Message
most are your basic soil i think it’s miracle grow cause it’s what i can afford lol
Reported Message
Ooooh they may not be too big! What was your mix?

hi friends, i’m new and overestimated pot size for my bigger plants, they are in HUGE pots and i realize now they don’t need to be in such a big pot even if the plant is big, will they be okay if i don’t overwater or did i f up and what do if i f up
Hi Ash!! Having big pots don't always mean a detriment to your plants. You may just need to adjust care in the beginning as the plants get used to the new pots. Key things are the medium used and your watering amt/schedule. Do you have any photos?

Thanks everyone. I have all kinds of safe bugs and don't want to treat and kill them if I don't have to.
Reported Message
Lots of predator mites look like that too. Either way I don’t think harmful.
Reported Message
So with a few exceptions, if it moves fast it’s safe if is slow kill it!
Reported Message
Looks like a mold mite! Nothing to worry about ❤️
Reported Message
Hmmm flat mites?? @kalis_greenhouse @christen
Reported Message
What is this fat reddish bug? I've seen all kinds of different bugs, but this is new. It's moving as fast as a fat bug can move.

They look like calluses to me, I am not entirely sure. Unless you see pests I wouldn't worry too much about it. @channel Anyone with more cacti knowledge want to jump in on this to help 😅
What does ‘@ channel’ mean?
Reported Message
I think this looks fungal .. I’d make sure it’s in well draining soil add lots of pumice if there’s not a lot in there and ensure it has good airflow around it
Okay! Interesting. I’ll check its substrate and treat it Thursday. Thank you so much!
Reported Message
Any ideas what this is?

That’s what our son thought too. No pests that I can find. Whew!

I found it odd that two sets of leaves came out very similar. Maybe it needs some limestone or other additive.
Reported Message
Hello! Not quite a mutation but sometimes leaves will grow differently based on different stimuli. It could be nutrient based or environmental based
Reported Message
Has anyone seen a mutation like this? Hoya coronaria.

@mareek - how are you going to eradicate them? I have root mealies too and I don't want to chop until I absolutely have to....
I had to chop my maliksi because the leaves were being affected. I just got pure crop, so I guess a root drench or whatever they call it
Reported Message
@christen @kalis_greenhouse may have just saved my maliksi with their recommendations of the microscope. Thanks @christen for being my plant therapist tonight.

I need someone’s opinion on this. I bought this hoya 2 years ago at a show from Aroid Market as NEW Sp sullawesii. I have only sold two nodes of it before and I am wondering if this label was correct…does anyone recognize it?
