Each birdhouse and bird are handcrafted by "Papa" Paul from select pieces of poplar wood and "spectra-ply", a special type of colored plywood, that adds a splash of color to the 3-dimensional birds sitting on their perches.

Finished in amber shellac and top coated with spar-polyurethane, these plant stakes are water resistant and can be enjoyed indoors or outside on your deck or patio.

Utilizing patterns designed by Diana Thompson, "Papa" Paul uses 3-D cutting techniques on his scroll saw to create these adorable decorations. Each birdhouse has a strong 5 1/2-inch-long steel stake epoxied to the base for years of use and reuse.

Since these birdhouses are made from natural wood, variances will naturally occur in color, grain structure and densities of the wood. Photos show a representative likeness of what you will receive. Each piece of wood cuts and stains differently making each birdhouse a unique one-of-a-kind treasure.
