Lyric insert Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover has a few creases near edges; light-scuffing (front/back). Inner-sleeve is plastic. Spine is easy-to-read wit mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
Battle Of The Heart, by Wendy Tailbot and Mary Hopkins, released on Sparrow Records and produced by Terry Talbot, who was Wendy's husband at the time. This marked their fourth and final album as a duo before parting ways, amid personal changes including Wendy's divorce from Terry Talbot later that year and her subsequent marriage to singer Don Francisco. The album features 11 tracks of gentle folk-worship style music with acoustic guitars, synthesizers, and harmonious vocals, focusing on themes of faith, love, and spiritual warfare. Historically significant as the concluding chapter of Wendy & Mary's collaboration in the 1980s CCM scene, it contributed to the genre's soft, introspective sound and influenced later artists in Christian folk music. While no major mainstream hit singles emerged, the title track Battle Of The Heart and Lullaby for Grown-Ups received praise and airplay within Christian radio circles for their peaceful, uplifting qualities.
