Beautifully handcrafted, this little doll has paper mâché face and hands and is hand painted. Peeking out of her shoulder fur, is her little baby. My research says these dolls were handcrafted by the Pima Indians in Southwest Arizona. The fur is real, I assume rabbit. Her beautiful turquoise dress is pleated. She stands approximately 9 1/2 inches tall. Most of these dolls are from the 70's and 80's, I assume she is also but I cannot date. Simply stunning. Sold as shown, please see all photos.

I'm a retired public servant, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and child of a former thrift'o'holic. I did not appreciate my mom’s passion for Thrifting until I caught the “bug”. Ladybugs are my sign that my mom is with me and in honor of her was born LadyBugThrifts. I am a boomer, a genealogy geek. I love all things nostalgic but love my tidy home and don’t want to be a hoarder so I share my found treasures with you all and it helps supplement my retirement income.
