Details
In very good vintage condition. Very rare piece! The interior of the bowl shows minimal signs of wear or use, the painting is in untouched and vibrant condition as is the wooden bowl. The pedestal and foot are also in terrific condition, the underneath base has had the felt removed as you can see in photos. The Woodcroftery Company, founded in 1935 in the Finger Lakes region of New York, specialized in hand-turned wooden bowls and kitchenware. By mid-century, it was the largest U.S. producer of wooden bowls. Artisans crafted each piece by hand and were compensated per item. The company’s products often featured sturdy, simple designs, emphasizing functionality and craftsmanship, and are considered collectible today.
