Details
Universal Potteries was an American ceramics manufacturer that operated from 1934 to 1968 in Cambridge, Ohio. The company was known for producing affordable and durable dinnerware, often sold in chain stores and given away as promotional items. Their designs were heavily influenced by the Art Deco and Streamline Moderne styles popular during the mid-20th century.
Universal Potteries' Cambridge line, introduced in the 1930s, featured a variety of floral and geometric patterns. The tulip design, with its bold colors and stylized shapes, is a characteristic example of the era's aesthetic. These pieces are now sought after by collectors of vintage American pottery, prized for their nostalgic appeal and historical significance. See pictures for condition details.
