This is a vintage milk glass jar with a pretty tulip pattern! Made in the USA during the mid 1930s, by the Hocking Glass Company (which soon became Anchor Hocking), this jar was part of their "Vitrock" line of milk glass wares. The creamy white glass holds a little surprise - it glows a little under black light! This jar is a smaller canister, originally meant to hold drippings, but of course you can fill it with anything of an appropriate size that your heart desires! Condition: This jar is in Excellent shape! There are no chips, cracks, or any other damage that I could find. The tulip graphic is still very vibrant, without any serious scratching or wear. Really the only issue is that it arrived in my care lidless. It'd be a lovely as a vase or as an open kitchen storage for packaged goodies, but I do think you'd be able to find a modern lid replacement without too much hassle. Size: The jar is about 5½" across the widest point, is 4" front to back, and sits 4¾" tall.
