This is a vintage family of extra cute, and extra tall, poodle figurines! Made in Japan during the 1960s, for HOLMAR Imports, these stylishly long pups were hand painted. Mama has a loop in her neck, and each pup is chained to her. Both mama dog and her puppies are painted a creamy white, with soft gray paws and muzzles. All of their little legs and ears have "fluffy" textured fur, just like a real poodle! Their bright blue eyes are enormous, and just a little bit on the sad side. Won't you invite them home to cheer them up? Condition: The entire poodle family is in Excellent shape! There are no chips, cracks, repairs, or any other damage that I could find. They do each have a tiny bit of paint loss. All of their color is cold-paint, which lies on top of the glaze, and is prone to wearing off easily. Fortunately, the layer is almost entirely intact, with just a few scrapes and flecks missing here and there. Size: Mama dog measures about 3 ½" across the widest point, is 2 ¼" from toe to tail, and sits just under 8 ½" tall. Her pups both measure 1 ¾" across, are 1 ¼" wide, and sit 3 ¼" tall.
