Details

Handsome vintage porcelain bowl decorated in the classic Rose Medallion-style, featuring vibrant famille rose enamels, figural panels, florals, and geometric borders. The base is marked “HAND PAINTED IN HONG KONG” in red, indicating mid-20th century export production, most commonly dating from the 1950s through 1970s. Pieces with this mark were typically produced for the Western market, using traditional Rose Medallion motifs inspired by earlier Chinese export porcelain, and decorated by hand in Hong Kong workshops. The result is a colorful, decorative bowl well suited for display, collection, or chinoiserie décor.

In excellent vintage condition. Very little paint loss on the gold painted rim. Please see photos as they are part of the description.
