This is a vintage MCM modernist Baltic Amber cushion cut sterling silver ring in a size 6.25-6.75 due to thick band. The sterling silver workmanship is stunning and gives the ring a Mid Century Modern / feel to the design. This ring shows occlusions, which can be any type of organic matter trapped inside. These inclusions give amber its wonderfully stunning depth and character. The ring weighs about 13.1 grams. It is stamped 925. The ring also has been tested and is genuine amber and sterling silver. It has some patina and scuffs inside- a testament to use and age. Real Baltic amber will fluoresce pale green under UV light, as seen in photos. Ring weighs 13.1 grams.
