This is a vintage vase or planter, featuring some super kitschy llamas! Made in Japan during the 1960s for Dee Bee Company Imports, this colorful planter was brightly painted, with big showy flowers in addition to the cute llamas. The llamas were given a pearly lustered finish on their fuzzy coats - they are EXTRA, and that's why we love them! Condition: This piece is Very Good condition! I spotted a few tiny fleabites around the rim, and each llama has one on an ear as well. One of the leaves at the top is missing a tip, but it may be a factory flaw - The ceramic is especially thin and tender on this one, and there is a lot of roughness along the mold lines in addition to the few fleabites I found. Either way, there are no serious issues, and it is a stunner, if you ask me! Size: It measures 4½" across, is about 3" wide, and stands 6" tall. The actual planter portion is 4¼" across by 2½", and though the space narrows, it extends all the way to the base. Great for holding long stem cut flowers or a deeper rooting houseplant!
