Vintage Glass Quart Jar, Distinctive Waffle or Grid Pattern, Metal Zinc Lid Clear space for a Label Clear Glass Jar, 7.5" Tall, 3.5" Square Stamped 1 on Bottom No chips, cracks or flea bites
Jars were primarily used for canning and food preservation. Now used for general storage, decor or collecting. Many of these waffle patterned jar date back to the early to mid-20th century, often associated with Hoosier Cabinets as storage canisters for dry goods.
NOTE: Due to the possible older manufacturing practices whereby this jar may contain lead oxide or other unknown materials, it is recommended that you don't use this jar any foods for human or pet consumption. Suggest for decorative use only, like crafts, buttons, floral vases.
