Vintage Dog Statue {Mutt] Very Heavy Possibly Ceramic No Markings Figurine Painted

This sweet-faced dog just looks like someone's family pet. His facial expression looks so hopeful and kind. He appears well loved, well-fed, has a nice collar. Probably a mutt and the best dog you ever had. Needs to be back with his family. He is heavy for his size at almost 1.5 lbs. He could even be used for a bookend. Nice and solid 6.5 inches tall, 5 inches wide. Very well painted. Such a realistic look overall on this guy. I feel like I've seen this dog in real life somewhere. He looks like an old friend. Pre-owned. Excellent vintage condition.
