Vintage Clip On Earrings Black? with Gold Tone Lattice Design

These earrings measure about 7/8". Appear black but appear to be a very very dark shade of red that appears to be so dark it is almost black. Some tarnish in the holes of the design. Some dulling to the gold tone to the front in places. Light marks and signs of wear.

Preowned vintage earrings, sold as shown - I am unsure of material type(s) because of this. Pictures show different angles for you to review - while I attempt to note any defects, some tarnish/signs of wear may be visible that are not otherwise stated.

Earrings are tested and photographed on a thin/smooth earring stand (not included) to show that the clips are in working order.
