Details
Crafted with an eye for traditional arts and a touch of modern abstraction, this vintage art pottery square vase is a unique piece of American stoneware. The vase showcases a glossy drip glaze finish with a distinctive funnel neck design, complemented by a cut-out inscription on the front, adding a personal touch to its decorative appeal. Its abstract pattern and earthy colors make it a standout piece, sure to enhance any room with artisanal charm. The inside of the vase has a white majolica glaze, making the vessel watertight. Measuring 8.1 inches in height, 5.8 inches in length, and 3.2 inches in width, this vase is substantial, weighing in at 4 pounds and 15 ounces. Handmade and produced in the United States in 1980, this original piece reflects the Arts & Crafts/Mission Style of the era. Signed and incised with name and date, it's a fine example of late 20th-century art pottery, ideal for collectors and decor enthusiasts alike.
The vase is in very good condition. There are no cracks or signs of wear. There is a slight chip on the backside corner of the vase, but it does not impact its stability (see final two pictures for detail).
