Vintage 60's Bespoke Formal Evening Gown Cardinal Red Beaded Sleeveless Column Dress Fits M-M/L

Show-stopping bespoke 1960's beaded formal evening gown!

FEATURES:

• Extremely flattering column sheath silhouette with a flared sweeping hemline.
• Gorgeous beadwork decorated the neckline and sleeve openings. Beadwork is shown throughout the dress, concentrating more toward the hemline.
• The dress closes with a zipper and hook/eye at the middle back.

CONDITION: There are three small holes in the outer fabric at the back right side (pictured). The red lining does a good job at making them less obvious, so the dress is still wearable as-is, or you could repair. There are several very faint tiny stains on the left side of the dress that may have been from a splattered drink at some point, but now are only noticeable if inspecting. Overall, this dress is still a stunner and in good vintage condition with lots of wear left!

No tags are attached. This dress came from an estate of a woman that was married to a high-ranking military officer, and she owned many gorgeous bespoke gowns from around the world. This dress, although unbranded, is professionally made and such a special gown.

The outer fabric was tested, and I believe it to be a fancy cotton knit. It is not synthetic. The dress is fully lined with a red satin fabric.

• Length (shoulder to hem): 56.5 inches
• Chest (armpit to armpit, doubled): 37-38 inches
• Waist (doubled): 31 inches
• Hips (doubled): 41 inches
• Shoulder to shoulder: 16 inches
• Arm opening: 8.25 inches
