Vintage 60's 28 Shop Marshall Field Cream Daisy Dress Designer Marguerite Dexter Fits M/L

Gorgeous late 60's spring / summer cream daisy dress designed by Marguerite Dexter and sold at The 28 Shop at Chicago's Marshall Field & Company. This dress is incredible and truly a rare boutique gem!

The exclusive 28 Shop was opened in 1941 and was one of the first boutique shops in the U.S. The 28 Shop was named for its private elevator entrance at 28 East Washington St. and featured 28 dressing rooms. It was here that Marshall Field's sold high end clothing from many of America's best designers.

FEATURES:

• Talon zipper closure up the middle back with a hook/loop at the top to secure.
• The daisy print fabric is done in a light beige color with cream colored flower petals and light-yellow centers with a raised embroidered white outline.
• The dress is fully lined with a soft light-yellow fabric.

CONDITION: The dress is in excellent pre-owned vintage condition with no evident stains, rips, or holes!

There is no size, fabric, or care tag attached. The fabric has a canvas texture and feels like a cotton or linen - possibly a blend. Hand washing or dry clean recommended. • Length (shoulder to hem): 37.5 inches
• Chest (armpit to armpit, doubled): 40 inches
• Waist (doubled): 34 inches
• Hips (doubled): up to 48 inches, but best to have some extra room here
• Waist to hem: 22.5 inches
• Arm opening: 6.5 inches
