This is teapot is a vintage Royal Staffordshire brown"Windsong" by J. & G. Meakin. It was produced in the 1960s in England. The pieces are made of ironstone china and feature a brown transferware floral pattern.
Ironstone china is a type of vitreous pottery first made in the United Kingdom in the early 19th century. ironstone is intermediate between earthenware and porcelain, although it is technically an earthenware.
There some faint crazing on the lid as shown in the photos.
