Details

The Vintage 1881 Rogers Canada Silverplated Teapot is a rare find from the early 20th century, showcasing the Art Deco style popular during that time period. Made of silverplate with a tarnished finish and one dent (see photos), this teapot bears the EPBM and 575 pattern engraving and originates from Canada. The maker, 1881 Rogers Canada, adds to its authenticity and charm, making it a unique and sought-after piece for collectors of antique silver items.

Handle to spout is 10 inches. Height to top of finial is 7 inches. Holds 4 cups. Weighs 1 lb 7 oz.

EPBM: This stands for Electro-Plated Britannia Metal, which is a common base metal alloy (primarily tin, with copper, antimony, and sometimes zinc) that is then electroplated with a layer of silver.

I am a long time scrapbooker and card maker. When I retired early after 32 years in corporate America I started also making crafts. Then I found vintage finds resellers on Facebook and got hooked on thrifting to make over items or just resell. I have found I love thrifting and flipping my finds. Being a new reseller I appreciate every view, offer and purchase. Hope you enjoy my items.
