A casual twist on pearls, this ethically-mined, gem-quality, free-form graduated aqua cabochon beaded necklace is both pristinely constructed and maintained — still living in its original box by the Saint Helena, CA jeweler who manufactured it.
As depicted in photos, under extreme magnification the metal shows subtle signs of wear commensurate with age. However as the original owner, I can attest these have never been worn with any regularity. Upon purchase, those preferring a more contemporary look may choose to have the item buffed and polished. (there are no marks visible to the naked eye)
The unmarked portion of the clasp tests as 14K (yellow) gold; a photo of the stamp is included in the listing (“14K” and an image, likely the designer hallmark). Total carat weight is approximately 400. Total weight: 78 grams.
A perfect gift for the refined free spirit, particularly one born in March.
