Betty Crocker's 15th Anniversary 1921 to 1935, 15 prize recipes with a certificat to send in for free painting.

Northwestern Yeast, Chicago with Bake Day Suggestions. Yes, this was a real day. Since ovens of that period took time to heat and cost money as were wood or coal fired. Baking was done 1 day each week to save on this time and fuel cost. This company eventually became part of Standard Foods, a conglomeration formed by JP Morgan.

Both booklets are 3 x 5. They do show age wear but will still make a nice accent in vintage kitchen decor.

A charming pair from the era when Bake Day was a real weekly ritual in American kitchens.
