Crafted from solid walnut, this sculptural piece celebrates the natural beauty of the material through a continuous waterfall grain that wraps seamlessly around the entire form. The grain flows uninterrupted across each surface, creating a sense of movement and cohesion that emphasizes the integrity of the design.
The cantilevered case appears to rest lightly atop the sculpted base, balancing visual weight with precision joinery and subtle tapers. Clean geometry and softened edges allow the figure of the walnut to remain the focal point, resulting in a piece that feels both architectural and organic, quietly bold, yet deeply refined.
Originally designed and built as a fully custom commission, this piece can be recreated in white oak, cherry, or walnut, with dimensions and details tailored to your space.
