Founded in 2017, Brodey Carpenter created Dredge Design after obtaining his bachelors of science degree for industrial Design in Denver, Colorado and honing his skills at a local custom furniture shop: Where Wood Meets Steel, sealing his passion for the streamlined and sturdy raw materials of wood and steel. Ready to return to his roots, Brodey created Dredge Design to capture the beauty, longevity and untamed nature of the Southern Oregon Coast.

At its core, Dredge Design aims to design, develop, and manufacture furnishings used in your daily life for function and aesthetics. The pieces aspire to become the worn-in favorite that still commands a second look based on form alone and upon closer inspection, reveals quality material and thoughtful craftsmanship.

Dredge Design is focused on all aspects of creating including design, material specifications, woodworking and in-house metal fabrication. Brodey’s hands-on approach, local collaboration and backyard access to unmatched native species such as Big Leaf Maple and Oregon Myrtle, allows for his designs to be truly unique and detail-oriented. Dredge Design is a frontier trail blazer leading in furniture design on the Southern Oregon Coast.
