Crafted from beautiful black ash, this table brings a touch of nature into your home. Perfect for small spaces, it offers a sturdy surface and a lower shelf for extra storage. Each piece is unique, showcasing the natural grain and character of the wood. It's topcoated with a durable polyurethane to protect the table aswell as accentuate the natural wood Beauty. This table was hand built from a black ash tree that had sadly been killed by the emerald ash borer, like millions of other ash trees across North America. In my mind, I feel that building furniture with ash wood that had succumbed to the ash borer makes the tree live on in a different life, preserving its beauty and it's legacy. Table dimensions are 18 inches in length, 9 inches in width and 21 1/2 inches in height.

I grew up in a small town surrounded by nature and developed a passion for learning about many different wood species. Each tree has a story to tell and deserves to be admired even beyond it’s lifespan. The ability for my work to make a house feel like home is of extreme interest to me. A handcrafted piece of furniture can be passed down through many generations becoming a family heirloom. Through many hours of hard work and determination, I acquired fine carpentry skills and enjoy crafting unique pieces of furniture that last a lifetime.
