Greatest Hits Volume II by Ray Price, is a compilation that gathers several of his signature countrypolitan ballads and honky-tonk influenced tracks from the early to mid-1960s, showcasing his smooth vocal delivery and shift toward lush, string-backed arrangements. The album features standout songs like Make the World Go Away, a fan-favorite tearjerker written by Hank Cochran that exemplifies Price's emotive style, alongside Healing Hands of Time penned by Willie Nelson and Burning Memories by Mel Tillis, both highlighting his collaborations with top Nashville songwriters. Other notable inclusions are Pride, Night Life, and Another Bridge to Burn, which capture the heartache themes central to his appeal during that era. It represents a key point in his career as he solidified his status as a leading interpreter of sophisticated country material. The album itself reached No. 17 on the Billboard country charts.
