A hybrid of Pinguicula ehlersiae × Pinguicula moranensis, Pinguicula 'Sethos' was created by H. Weiner in 1981 and officially registered in 1998 by Adrian Slack. This cultivar is known for its vibrant transformation from green to pink under intense light and its charming violet flowers, often with a soft gradient and pale throat. While it shares parentage with P. 'Weser', 'Sethos' is distinguished by its unique floral pattern and slightly more open, spreading growth habit. Its broad, rounded leaves gently curve inward, forming a tight, symmetrical rosette that adds to its refined and sculptural appearance.
