Pinguicula “Mehitable” #2

Pinguicula "Mehitable" is a unique hybrid created by Bob Beer, affectionately named after an “old lady” due to its flower’s resemblance to a traditional pansy. While its exact lineage is uncertain, the mother plant was Pinguicula agnata “Red Leaf”. This butterwort features large, ruffled purple flowers with a yellow throat and white spots that accentuate its purple veins. Its leaves are ovular and blush beautifully under high light.
