The core of this blend is tree fern fiber, chosen for its exceptional moisture retention and humidity control without becoming oversaturated. To enhance the mix, I've incorporated orchid bark, pumice, perlite, biochar, and a touch of volcanic soil. This combination provides an effective and straightforward substrate.

This mix is specifically formulated for Hoya but serves as an excellent soil-less substrate for a wide range of plants due to its balanced moisture retention properties. It naturally aerates, eliminating the need for additional aeration materials.

An added benefit of tree fern fiber is its all-natural and sustainably harvested origin. Its durability ensures that the substrate remains effective for a longer period, reducing the frequency of repotting.
