Details
Vinyl plays with some crackles and a few light-clicks (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing, discoloration spots, and surface impressions (front/back); tiny surface abrasions on front; name and address written near top-left and slight discoloration on back. Inner-sleeve is generic white. Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along top-edge; heavier wear along bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
More Themes for Young Lovers, by Percy Faith, reached No. 110 on Hot 200. Generously buoyed by tunes from the best known pop hit making teams of the late '50s and early '60s, this selection grooves along with a rhythmic bounce all its own. The album leads off with the song You Don't Owe Me which is a single by Lesley Gore in 1963, when she was 17 years old. The song was Gore's second most successful recording and her last top-ten single. Gore herself considered it to be her signature song. The song was featured in the 1996 film The First Wives Club as sung by Diane Keaton, Bette Midler and Goldie Hawn.
