Still in ORIGINAL SHRINK-WRAP (opened). Vinyl plays with some crackles and a few light-clicks (play-graded). Cover looks great; light scuffing and discoloration in areas where small amounts of shrink have loosened or come off (front/back); number stamped on back top right corner. Inner-sleeve is generic white. Spine is easy-to-read with mild wear. Little shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge, with a small split at bottom right, and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use. (Not a cut-out.)
Pearl Bailey Sings the Songs She Loves...By Her Favorite Composer Harold Arlen features songs hand-picked by Bailey. Her love of Arlen goes way back to when she first met the modest one-time band pianist from Buffalo and first heard the music from his famed Cotton Club revues in the early '30s. Arlen, in turn, has openly admired Bailey's style and honest interpretation of a song for years. The crossing of their careers, mutual admiration, and work together led to this wonderful album.
