This is a stoneware Goblet/Chalice made by "the Original Otagiri" . It is Gray speckled stoneware with a rim of Blue & Brown "x" patterns. (some of the photos, done without flash are not true to color. It is gray, not brown.)The original label under bottom foot reads " Hand Crafted Otagiri Original, Japan". The inside of the goblet has the same "x" pattern around the rim, but is in a lighter gray color palate. This would make a nice "communion chalice" or single display chalice, or a replacement for a broken one from your current set.
