ONEIDA SILVERSMITH ORNATE 2 PIECE CANDY DISH WITH GLASS INSERT (ALSO CALLED CONDIMENT DISH, JELLY DISH, TRINKET DISH, or CAVIAR SERVER)

This is a gorgeous 2 piece vintage serving piece or trinket dish by ONEIDA SILVERSMITH. It has many uses, and accordingly is referred to by many names—it is called a trinket dish, a caviar server, a candy dish, a condiment dish, and a jelly dish to name a few. So many uses for this 2 piece set! This beautiful piece has an intricate pierced design around the outer edge and a glass insert. It is marked ONEIDA SILVERSMITH on the bottom, and the silver dish measures approximately 6” wide in diameter and the glass insert measures approximately 3 1/2” wide. This set is in great vintage condition with no dents in the dish or chips or cracks in the bowl and a slight patina which can be shined or left as is. What a lovely and useful addition to any home!
